Thousand Hills is a farming management company built to connect landowners, farmers, and contractors into one clear, ethical, and transparent system. We specialise in helping people manage cattle responsibly from pasture to processing, while creating long-term value for land and communities.
Why We Do This
Farming is complex, and too often there are gaps in trust, communication, and accountability. Landowners want to know their land is cared for. Farmers want their cattle tracked and supported. Contractors need clarity in their work. And everyone needs confidence that cattle are managed well. Thousand Hills exists to bridge those gaps, making the process simple, accountable, and fair for everyone involved.
Our Story
Thousand Hills was born out of a simple idea: farming should work better when people are connected. We saw the frustration landowners faced in finding the right farmers, the challenges contractors had in managing stock, and the risks farmers faced without transparent systems. We knew there was a smarter way — one where relationships, data, and accountability could come together to create trust.
How We Started
Our team began by working directly with landowners and farmers, building relationships one property at a time. We created practical systems to track and monitor cattle, manage contracts, and ensure clear communication across all parties. What started as a local service has grown into a structured management model that supports every stage of cattle farming.
